Paid Subscription vs Free
What do you get when you pay to subscribe?
Sure, you can subscribe for free, and it’s a good way to get to know my blog.
Welcome aboard.
Read the blog for a while, and if you become curious and want to know more than is available with the basic Free subscription, then you can switch to Paid.
With the Paid Subscription, you will get access to additional content, such as behind-the-scenes looks at my life on the road with my dog, Mr. Bones, as well as extra access to me as the creator, through live Zoom talks, Monthly Q&A, and, for those who just can’t get enough of me, occasional online personal chat sessions.
Wow!
But, and I hope this means something to you, your subscription actually helps me to keep going. Van life is exciting at times, but it can be tough as well. Every bit of financial support helps in an era where legitimate writers (like me!) now compete with the unscrupulous people (gasp!) who use AI to create meaningless content.
So, if you want to ensure a future in which real people write real stories about real life, please consider paying for a subscription. Thanks in advance for your help!
How much is a paid subscription?
Note that I set the monthly subscription at $5, the lowest amount Substack will allow, and the annual subscription is only $40, also the lowest possible level.
If you want to be a founding member, you can choose a higher subscription amount at will. I generously have not set a cap on how high you can go?
